A man of many parts most of which are now discontinued. But one who can look back on a life that has spanned several decades and seen many changes in society although life, death and taxes have remained a constant factor.

I came from humble beginnings as quite a lot of people do - it must be quite a big place.
At the ripe old age of 21 I found my perfect match and sired two children and since then three grandchildren of whom we are very proud. This valuable experience means I can write about family weddings and christenings from my own personal perspective.

I earned my living for the most part in Sales and Marketing mainly for an International oil company whose British headquarters were based in London. After obtaining a degree in business studies I became Head of Marketing in the company a role which took me all over the world, affording me valuable experience in making business presentations and after dinner speeches.

Sport has always been a big part of my life, a competitive person by nature I played semi-professional football in an era when it took a week to earn what today's stars earn in a minute.
A competitive golfer and a past Captain of my club, I have played the noble game in the four corners of the earth - not in successive shots of course.
